The Ewell Grove After School Club runs from 3.05pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday during term time, except in-service days.
Parents can book up to five sessions per week. Sessions must preferably be booked at least half a term in advance to enable us to provide adequate childcare ratios. Ad-hoc places may be available, please speak to the manager Mrs Polly Sawyer.
The cost of the Ewell Grove After School Club is £9.50 per session. There is no discount for a 2nd sibling, but a discount will be offered for a 3rd sibling. Full fees are payable for sickness, holidays during term time and school closures due to inclement weather.
A week’s non-returnable deposit is required to secure a place at the club. (This will be deducted from the first term’s fees).
Parents are required to pay fees half a term in advance, preferably by Bank Transfer, Telephone Banking or Standing Order. We also accept cheques.
Half a term’s written notice is required to terminate your child’s place at the After School Club. Failure to do so could result in you being charged half a term’s fees.
A main teatime snack of juice/water, fruit, toast/pitta, crackers and selection of spreads will be provided by the club at the beginning of the session. Juice & fresh water will be freely available throughout the session. We believe snack and meal times are an important part of the club’s session. Eating represents a social time for children and adults and helps children to learn about healthy eating. At the After School Club we aim to provide balanced and nutritious food in line with EYFS Welfare Requirements and Health and Safety Requirements. Please inform the staff of any dietary requirements or allergies your child might have.
N.B. Peanut butter, any peanut products and chocolate spread is not served at any time.
We provide a wide selection of games, toys, arts and crafts, reading books, and indoor and outdoor activities. There is also the opportunity for the older children to do their homework in the quiet corner, where they are provided with relevant writing equipment, and staff are happy to help if necessary.
The Ewell Grove After School Club currently take children from Danetree School, Sparrow Farm Junior School and Wallace Fields Infant and Junior Schools. The children who attend Danetree arrive at the After School Club by a Walking Bus, which is run by parents on a voluntary basis, and is not part of the Ewell Grove After School Club.
We feel the Ewell Grove After School Club is a place where children are able to play, learn and relax with their friends.
